Have an odd what I think is GAL door roller. It's a single pivoting roller, and no stationary roller. Does anyone know the part number and/or if it is still available? If not will a two roller vertical set up work? it looks like a MOM assembly just without the stationary roller.

Looks like it's from a Dover DC62 operator

To me, it appears to be of GAL design. What does the interlock, hanger tracks or other equipment look like?

Most importantly, what clutch are you running. That will determine what you can replace that with that's a common part

I just found we have a job with one of these old dover rotary units (1957) and one of the more seasoned guys in our company said it's an early GAL product and not sure of availability. The clutch used is stationary and doesn't have a retracting arm so you may not be able to use a stacked roller set up with both rollers on it. You could probably use a dover /tk clutch and add ramps to pick the retracting bar

Just a follow up, I used a standard GAL MOM (Vertical) roller assembly , and removed the lower stationary roller and shaft. Works like a charm.

Well imagine that!
An original poster who followed through on briefing the forum on his fix!
Wish all were like that!
