I do not know what the proper tension is. It has got to be tight enough so that any bouncing of the car will not trip the broken cable switch.

We have them on several units of ours. The oldest I think is 4 years old. Have not had any problems yet. They do look cheap compared to the siemens.

We got it. Keep it simple stupid!! Move the level up flag to compensate for the overshooting. Unit rides and stops perfectly. Thanks for the responses...
