We did one so far to replace the obsolete Schindler motor and VF drive. We kept all the mechanical schindler/ECI components and just replaced the door...

I believe ESI (elevator sytems Inc) in NY typically built the controllers they used other wise I know Custom elevator supports their residential stuff...
