Just a few thoughts...
Do you have any info for that drive?
Do you have the setup sheet for this job?
How long of a delay is there between drive enable and the contactor picking?
Are you getting motion right after your contactor picks up.
Do you have the tool for this drive?
Is you feed back board good?
Is the connection to the feedback board good?
Is the zero trim set properly
Is IOC set properly?
Is over speed set properly? What year was the control boar made?
I there a jumper at R153?

Working on getting info for the set up...basically car runs fine at lower landings -issue presents its self at upper landings...when it needs to drive car down and pick weights from bottom.....seems to over current and shut down....no Im working without a drive book..but didnt want to adjust pots without proper set up...and this problem has just recently showed up...its a older motion..I will go back today and have a lil more info on this

the load weighing may need to be setup.

It does come up with a light load on the lcd screen occasionally

Check your braking resistor.

After checking the above recommendations first, you may want to make sure your brushes are free on the machine. A open armature due to sticking brushes can cause problems like that. On the more advanced side of things you mau have a failing current sensor on the drive. This can causing current limiting usually switching from forward bridge to reverse. Monitor tp1 and 2 with a scope.

I believe this is an AC Drive, so there would be no Brush rigging.

AC drive ok . You should have noted that but it is cool.
Over current:
what does your bus voltage look like?
aging units typically need new bus caps .
See if you are getting a dip in your DC bus voltage during deceleration or empty car down acceleration. You will need a meter capable of reading over 700 volts on a 480 v job.

open braking resistors typically cause over speed conditions since there is nothing to absorb the extra voltage created by the motor during typically empty car up at high speed.

are you getting any L2 Base Block errors?
also make sure your voltage and current reading available via the display menus actually match what you read with a meter within a reasonable margin. You may have a problem I have seen with current regulator board on other drives.

Only time I ever saw a SWEO get a IOC fault, the main contactor was the cause.
