Im working with an old gate lift thst consists if 2 motors. Obe for upband downbobe for self level.
I have managed to get the lift up and down using the manual crank hut cant seem to get the self leveling to work correctly.

Im not an elevator mechanic. Im an electrrician.
The lift wasnt working at all aftwr the controll panel had been pkayed about with by sverel engineers who "knew" what they were doing.

After severel uours of going through the original and additional schematics I git the lift to work just not tge the self leveling.

Too bad, call one and they will have it up and running in a jiffy.
Unless of course you live in a region of the world where regulations don't mandate that qualified elevator personel work on lifts, and if so they should probably look into it. Non qualified or in experienced people working on lifts is dangerous to say the least.

well said. We aren't trying to be jerks, but if you do not understand how the whole system works, a little advice can be dangerous.

Electrician should know how to put a lock on the disconnect. Then several hours saved. You job is finished.

There is qualified engineers all over the earth. Look up a ThyssenKrupp, Otis, Kone, Swindler.....
