Can you send me the gen2 manuals I’m having an issue with a 710 drive fault

Gen2’s have battram chips on the MLBIII processor board and EEPROMS for software. The same type of EEPROMS are in the OVF30 drive as well.
If you type in otis gen2 adjustment manual in google several results come up on scribd.
You’re going to need OCSS / MCSS / DBSS if you want to be able to troubleshoot these things without help.

Gen 2s dont have mlb3 boards. Thats a 411. Gen 2s are GCS boards.

Early gen2s definitely use MLB3 boards with OVF30 drives. they didn't go GCS until around 2009/2010

We have "Gen 2 with 411 controls" but they're in a 311 cabinet. They are over slung belted cars with the machine and gov in the overhead

Schindler is better if you like to go belted. The controller doesn't need a handheld parameter keypad like otis and more info is available online, such as: http://www.firstchroniclesproductio... trol%20System%20Basics%20REV%200.3.5.pdf

I would strongly disagree. The schindler 3300,in my opinion, are terrible. Also the hand held tool, which is like $65, is a perk. You can have one plugged into the drive and one in the controller to see different things at the same time. Also the tool has a 3-4' cord so you can pull up a chair while you're working and have prints or manuals out and not have to stand in front of the controller.
