my kcm goes on phase one all by itself. i removed all fire service related items and the car went down today. i suspect board. ideas?

Did you turn it off in the cpu?

I had a 411 do the same for no reason. turned out to be a bad line terminator in the car that would cause the the cpu to reboot sporatically. the failsafe for software is fire and/or earthquake.

try shutting off fire service (1-62-0) and see if the problem persists
