As told to me. On a repower to this unit the car will run down to find itself. When the car hits KHD (terminal slow down ) It stops and the start,Wye, Delta, Up and then Down outputs start strobing causing the soft starter to come in and out and the car to move up and then down till the overloads trip. These outputs cycle are in a very repeatable pattern not just random. Then the car can only be run on inspection in the up direction till you get it to the top floor and then it finds itself and runs fine.But all down limits appear to be fine. Then once in awhile the car will get a fatal error but show no faults. The last problem is with the selector mag reader switches we seem to have a lot of momentary failures. We have ordered all new selector mag switches and a new CGIO board for install today but has anyone seen similar problems?

Depending how new this equipment is....there is a reliability software upgrade that is required by Schindler to make whether it is under contract or not..this seems to fix a lot of problems with this equipment.....

Len thanks for the heads up on the software. Looks like the new mag reader switches did the trick. We replaced them all and reset them to 1/8 off magnets. And now car will recover on power loss with no problems. time will tell as we saw no problem with the inputs to the controller.
