In 1969 Montgomery was using Potter Brumfield relays on their hydro's. The terminal block markings do seem like Montgomery though. Very odd.

I have worked on many a Montgomery Hydro, and I d not think this is a Mongomery.

If you are talking about an old brass eeco valve, the manual lowering is under the screw cap on the rear of the valve in back of the coils.
