Is this LON or Non-LON? Having a debate…TAC20-03 Non-LON…TAC20 LON…TAC22…?

No LON involved on a simplex TAC22 unless you have LON PIs. That’s when you’ll see a single yellow or blue port in IMS. You have to have at least 1 LON port on the channel to enable LON PIs. They do use LON for group comm though. TAC20-03 has no LON at all. I don’t think an Eschelon chip (little silver box) exists anywhere on them. They do have an SPI loop for additional ports that can use L24 cards but there is nothing LON about the SPI loop itself or the L24 cards. Most people associate that SPI loop with LON but all that’s LON is the comm between the 188E and the LN card or 188E to LON PI or 188E to 188E in a group. All those boards have Eschelon chips on them.
