Hi, Can anyone tell me what grade oil is required for a Otis CT17 machine please? Tried contacting Otis and they said there technician has retired and they don't hold any records. Thanks

Chevron cylinder oil W 460 is what we just used in some old Otis geared machines a couple weeks ago

Yeap, Otis No. 33. you can run synthetic in it but the recommended stuff will turn to tar if mixed with regular oil so you will usually need to flush twice.
