We put on MONXT-omni on a group of three 22 stop cars. Sometimes the door will not go into slowdown on the opening or closing and other times it works fine. It will do it at different floors at different times. All three have done this, we have received tech support and have changed parameters, and still no avail. GAl tech told us it is something to do with the mechanical on the doors, not their operator. Checked car gibs, rollers, our spirators are not tight, have been unable to find anything mechanical yet. On top of that is the issue, that sometimes at the same floor it opens and closes at the correct speeds, then other times it will not go into slow down.

Just checking to see if anyone else has had an issue like this with the GAL MONXT-OMNI, and if so were you able to resolve it.

The motor might have a faulty encoder. In this case you will need to replace the motor.

Check you grounding, Ive gone on a few jobs the installer was lazy and didn't run a proper ground. cleared up issues most of the time. If that's not it than the drive is bad.

Is you motor pulley spinning during holding? I had a similar with the movfe and again with Nexus, where it would constantly get lost.

It actually turned out to be the motor, we did get a new drive and crazy that they sent us the Nexus drive to replace the existing. We didnt have the Nexus tool, nor were we expecting to have to get it. Ordered the new motor and everyone a Nexus drive tool.

Swapped motor and we are good to go

The nexus drive is the same as the Delta/Monarch drive. The only one that's different is the original Siemens drive when the operator was first released into prod.
