0025. Start permit fault. Main contractors have not opened after stop. My P , Y, W contractors all look good Does any body know what causes this fault ?

Does the car run once then fault, or does it happen intermittently? I believe it is looking at an auxiliary contact on on one of the contactors. Do you run on inspect?

The position Encoder on Governor or Car Top got lost while car was running. Check encoder couplings.

I don't think the HS used a position encoder. Although the SL did if it was over 2 stops.

What I have on the 25 fault for an HS Hydro is: Start info is not high when the car tries to run. Looks like it just goes through N/C contacts on D, U, & SF.

john jay was right about encoder. Ohm out those N/C contacts if relays are dropping. I can send HS fault codes if you PM me an email.

With the car at floor level, the doors closed and ready to run. Are these led's high on the LCE Bd. sfty string, car door locks, ldg door locks, car lon network, hstwy lon network,+24v contol voltage, +5 volt control voltage, + 24V car and hstwy ok ? The in fault state should be low. Also make sure the overload isn't tripped.

This is almost the same as the 25 error. It says you have a Delta error or no start permit. The main relay board connector terminals, and relays is something to check. Do you have the norm relay up and sf up? Connector X2 has the pins for these.

What is the LRE relay doing? As well as SF. Are you trying to run up?

P and Y start. Then D comes for a second then shuts down on fault 53. Lre and sf and U goes in.

I assume that D, is Delta. If Delta comes in for a second then the culprit is probably, a nc contact on Y, or a no contact on YTR. these are fed from a no contact on P. The circuit is fed from Terminal X4, pin 6.
