we have a couple of the kone miprom 21 tools,from KONE and they work great, however we are having a little trouble with them communicating with a few of the 20 or so cars we have. a couple of the 4 car groups the tool will work fine on 3 of the 4 cars
on 1 of the 3 car groups, the tool will work fine on only 2 of them. strange thing is that at one time we could talk to all the cars. any ideas. i have a laptop miprom21 tool that will talk to all the cars, so i know it is not a controller issue. any ideas

Maybe to cable connection isn't making good contact?
