Group of two cars, service call for one car not running. Upon arrival, cars lights are not working. Cop B is working, Cop A is not working. Car will run from COP B with no issues other than car lights. Notice that K2 relay is on on CCBN board keeping the lights on battery back up. Replace CCBN board, still same thing. Found corroded buttons on COP A, replace them, still same thing, replace mull board in COP A still same thing. There are no fault codes in the system at all. We unplugged everything from mul board on COP A except for the CCBN and COP B connections still same thing with the K2 relay. We have done the LON download. Looking for suggestions.

Do you have the lap top to be able to look at the cop and set up the cop buttons? Also if you have a corroded ribbon that could cause a short

Yes we have the laptop. Is there a way to test the ribbons? Or just replace them all? Really was worried about those cables.

Im sure someone on here will be able to walk you through how much better then myself, but you should be able to plug the laptop into the mul to program the cop. You should be able to see the A side and B side and all the buttons for both. And if the b side works double check to make sure the A side looks the same. Each button/switch has a number and next to the number it has an arrow that points left or right or left and right. You want them to be the same as the working cop.
