We are consistently getting loss of communication with the DEM and door boards on this unit. Have checked every connection possible, replaced dem board, sent main processor board to Access and they replaced communication chips in it. No avail, it has trapped passengers twice, we have witnessed it while putting calls in to go above the terminal floor and shut down. Looking for any advice, other than of course the mod advice.

I would suggest scoping the CAN bus. A likely reason for this would be missing suppressors on any of the contactors. If that was the cause it would be happening right after a run.

almost afraid to post this.....we were missing three suppressors. It has been doing fine since the replacement of the suppressors.
