Has anyone encountered a new elevator(s) install with the Intel V3F16L drive after 2007? We had our elevators installed in 2009 and it seems like KONE knew of the obsolete drive yet still installed it. Now they want 37K to replace the old drives with the ones they developed to replace. Would appreciate any input...Mahalo

You can probably rid yourself entirely of Kone for a little bit more money and find someone who can fit something else into your hoistway.
