Called Component Source for a new DDI board and was told they no longer carry them. Has anyone had this problem? When they stopped supporting the old US line of boards they at least made an announcement and a timeline till they stopped.

Try World Electronics (610) 939-9800 or ECI (321) 783-5858. You may end up having to send the existing board in for repair.

Give the part number we carry many T3 boards on stock used.

I see online the component source has a 6300BL3 board which has a description of: "DDI PC Board TIII". This board might just be an updated version. I havn't delt with any T-3s myself, but I do know it can be hit or miss depending on who you talk to at the Component Source when it comes to what upgrated boards are compatable.

Access Electronics in MD does a great job repairing almost any T-III board. Even the old obsolete CPU Boards. Phone there is: 301-645-1733. They should have no problem fixing a Digital Drive Interface Board. The DDI board is used on a T-III with a GE DC300 drive and possibly some other drive. Only seen them on the DC 300's myself. DC 300 weak spot is the Power Supply which Access also repairs. Check your supply voltages if its a DC 300. Bad supply will look like a DDI problem sometimes.
