There is a five-stop General hydraulic elevator in a commercial building we own in South Norwalk CT that our current service company says they need a wiring diagram for. Can anyone out there suggest where to look for this? Also, if this is an appropriate forum to ask this next question, can anyone recommend an independent elevator service company that works around Connecticut?

Thanks in advance for any help here.

Theres 3 different General elevators. There's the one out of Orlando, LA, and Baltimore. Not seperate offices. Seperste companies with different equipment. Post pics of the controller and data tags if you can

I'd recommend asking inspectors who they may recommend. It's hard to know. Companies can be good but they're only as talented as the guys on their payroll. In my area there's some independents that have no one, would struggle with anything complicated. Then there's another that's got a deep roster of adjusters and takes nice jobs off the big 4s hands. Inspectors know who works where.

I may be able to help, what year is it and if you could post some pictures. General of Hartford ended up closing or selling a while ago but one of the family members is still in the trade if he hasn't retired yet. Also who do you currently have for service?

Thanks for the responses - it's vintage 1968 and attached is a picture of the control box. We're using Champion Elevator currently.
