Anyone have any information on these Westinghouse mod100 escalators. Parts of it have been moded to fit some Schindler escalator parts. The problem we are having is this: the handrail drive belt (the belt that loops around the 6 roller HR belt drive assembly) keeps breaking and seems to be riding the big handrail drive wheel and ripping. We have tried to line up the idler wheels as best we can so it doesn’t rub against the edges of the drive wheel but having no luck. This belt is the one that loops around the 6 roller HR belt drive assembly. All we have is a picture of how to loop the belt around the 6 rollers, 2 idler rollers and the HR drive wheel. It walks off the bottoms idler wheel and rips, thus shutting down the escalator. Thanks!

So it’s a 6 roller handrail drive assembly, then there should be 3 idler brackets with idler rollers, in between the HRD assembly rollers for belt tension. Also a handrail drive pulley (84 teeth, the big one), that has a metal ring around the edges of it so it keeps the belt from coming off, a broken belts switch arm that rides on the belt, and there’s one more stationary roller that is bolted on a plate inside the unit, and there’s a jack bolt on that for alignment, I would check all the rollers to make sure the bearings are good, it’s been years since I worked on one
