Have a TAC50 with a bad IOC board, TK is claiming the board is obsolete and must upgraded to 32BIT processor and IOC. Has anyone performed this procedure? Whats Involved?

Send the IOC for repairs if you can. TKE has a board repair service , but I dont know if its available for non TKE shops... also what problems are you having with the IOC?

upgrade will need a new CPU as well. Make sure you get all the software.....

TK will provide new ioc and software, just wondering how much wiring involved

you dont need software for a new ioc..... its a straight swap but you need the cpua as well. the new ioc will not work with the 16bit cpua.
