Hi,
I've got a 6010 that trips the comparator board and doesn't even move. 1M and the brake picks up. 1,2,3, and 6EA boards have been replaced. Drive was also swapped from a running car. Voltage on the speed comparator was at 6 volts. Any ideas???
Thanks.

By the way all TR relays are working and all nc, no contacts on TR relays are good.

do you have a voltage on the fields? what is the Comparator Board Trip point set at? Are the M switch Contacts good? If you bypass the Comparator will it run?

You are getting a pattern to the comparator board but the car is not moving so you have no tach feedback, the error voltage trips the board. Does it run on inspection? If it trips on inspect, jump out the comparator and troubleshoot why the car is not moving. You said the brake picks, assuming it clears completely, do you have voltage on the field? On the armature?
