We have a Schindler 330A, dual jack, front opening elevator in our condominium complex. Although sheltered the door is outside and somewhat exposed to the environment. In the winter when the sun is at a lower elevation and the leaves drop off the shade trees the door jams due to the heat of the sun on the door. Schindler have made adjustments and replaced the door but the problem remains. They tell use we have an interior door and should have an exterior door. Even then they will not warranty that it will solve the problem. We are in Northern California, so temperatures are not extreme, but the door does get hot. Has anyone experienced this problem and perhaps come up with a cost-effective solution?
