Hello I have 2 Otis Gen 2 elevators install about 6 years ago , install as duplex , these elevator are using the new belt system and one belt is making noise ?
NOt sure exactly what is causing the noise ?
Only on up direction !
I clean the belt , noise go away for couples days but come back !
Anybody as find a solution ?

Are you sure it's the belt and not a bearing on one of the sheaves?
