Have a 3 stop traction Shepard Elevator and the single speed hoist motor say Shepard, Cincinnati on the data tag, along with TYPE 61936 and NO. 4378. The bottom of the tag says Division of Dover Corp. (I know Dover bought them in '58). My question is, who made this hoist motor? Dover? It's a single speed AC and they wanna do a mod and I need a frame number or something so I can price a replacement motor. Anybody?
