I've been troubleshooting an issue on a Motion 1000 Variable Elevator and the Emergency Brake. I have replaced several parts but it is still setting the emergency brake.
Any suggestions?

Excuse my ignorance, but what is a Motion VE 1000? Traction, or Hydro of some sort? MCE?
Under what conditions are the E Brake to set? Over speed? Unintended motion? Loss of a control voltage?
Does the unit have the ability to display sequential faults?
Do you have access of technical data on this unit?

So...it’s a hydro right? This is not an overspeed device like Maxtons OSV (rupture valve) right? Does this unit use the Adams Life Jacket system, or another brand like it?
