Hi guys, need help. Have a particular lift with Schindler Miconic V system (high Rise). Lift has been down for 1 month. Lift unable to complete its learn run. It will does it distance trip and stop after starting its positional run. Stop at the same particular floor (5th).

Tried changing boards and so on. Anyone has any idea that may help?

Dont know much about Miconics but is it seeing the floors as it passes by? Is it counting properly? Maybe one of the terminal slowdowns is flakey. Clipping a door lock? Break in the traveler cable? Is it doing a motor thermal?

Are you getting an error on the safety board. You should start the learn trip away from the terminal floor. Is the car setting the motor field currents and load weighting at the terminal floor. Just a few to check, most likely you already did!

Numerous things can make a Miconic V fail a learn trip. The load weigh must be setup properly. This usually presents itself after guys fail to block compression of the sensors during 5 yr safety test. I would also verify that your k-limit contacts are working correctly and have not been moved The KNR leveling switch distance must be somewhat close. Make sure you start the learn process at least a floor or two away from the bottom floor. It has a switch about 18" from the bottom to tell the unit that it is approaching the bottom floor. If the car is failing after it reaches the bottom floor and weighs itself, I'd highly suspect a load weighing issue.
Is it failing on the 80% high speed trip back to the bottom?
