I got a 6 stop traction ESI car with gal hall stations. Basic dry contacts. My FR6 2 amp fuse on the RB board blows intermittently. Sometimes once a week . I see no visible shorts or issues with any hall station buttons and fixtures. No visible issues in shaftway or in shaftway Junction. Is it possible the rb board itself is causing FR6 fuse to blow ? Has any one had this issue or anything similar ?

In general, with an intermittent fuse blowing, the best approach is to split up all branches of the circuit with in-line fuses to narrow it down to 1 wire or device. Yo can re-arrange them each time you blow one until it becomes obvious where the problem is.

Had one like this once. Turned out to be a remote Keyed hall station. Only used by security once in a while. Something to check out.

They recently installed a Latch key fob system in the lobby . We wired in to the hall station. The Latch only comes on at night. The fuse blows during the day also so they say it’s not their system . They also say it’s just a dry set of contacts.

I would do as Dirt says and wire a fuse into that circuit first. If there was no problem before you made the change chances are that is where the issue lies.
