Has anyone had an issue with the old Otis Gearless DC machine brake pin cast. I know the sleeve in the brake can wear and cause issues.
Can the cast on the machine holding the brake pin flair out and put unneeded stress on the pin causing the brake lift to be reduced and stressed? I heard from someone this could happen however, I have never heard of this before.
