The operator loses its learn (power outage usually) then opens 3” then closes trying to find its limits. In my experience with closed loop the door would close first torque up find the close first then open slowly to the open and learn the open limit. This one goes to open first but since the close is not learned there is no close limit so the controller will reverse the door to close and then it starts over again.

Once I access the car top and give the operator a setup from the operator board it will take the learn and go back to normal operation.

GAL engineer has told me it has to do with the door timing in the controller but after the learn the timing is working correctly so I don’t believe that is my issue. Nothing in the controller has been changed.
