When my Destiny starts up or down, there is a noise which sounds like the collar surrounding the hydraulic shaft is sticking and then releases the shaft...when going up there is small jolt as is releases and the same on the way down...anyone have thoughts on the problem and a solution...thank you

How old is this unit? Has it always done this? Does the bump go away after several runs? Is the pumping unit in a heated space? Sounds like a tight packing, or a valve that needs a little adjusting. Where are you located?

Add one or two bottles of (Caterpillar Brand) Cat Oil conditioner to the oil reservoir tank. This is an expensive way to sometimes remedy a binding packing issue which you describe.
