Hi and thanks for any help with this question.
I need to find a replacement three wire elevator visitor access push button.
In the condo guests call apartment using keypad phone and are buzzed in via phone.
There is a three wire push button in apartment which is then pressed and unlocks elevator button for apartment floor.
This button (similar to doorbell button) illuminates when pressed and when elevator arrives on floor button light goes out.
During renovations contractor lost button and cannot find anywhere online.
Resident manager unable to help and still waiting to hear from elevator company that provides service but one employee unable to help.
About to list condo for sale and need to find this ASAP.
Thanks again for any info/leads.

It sounds like any lighted button that is rated for the voltage would work. It also sounds like this is a building/security company issue, elev techs run into this dilemma all the time. Even though the security is used for the elevator most of the time the elev company doesn't install or maintain the security equipment per contract. But a good tech should be able to help you out with the basics like what voltage is being supplied and maybe even which wires do what if it's easily marked.
