did some one come up with a replacement for the selector system on the Composite? I thought I saw one a few years back, but may have been mistaken.

I believe your thinking of elevator components company out of Virgina which made selector retrofits for a variety of selectors but unfortunately they have been out of business for a while now. I see Adams sells a electronic selector retrofit but I've never used it: https://www.adamselevator.com/elevator-parts/featured/electronic-selector-2/
